Recording Studio

It’s been a lifelong dream to build my own recording studio and in 2020, after 6 months of extreme DIY, I finally did it!

Based on years of working in pro studios I’ve designed a space that’s fun to work in and features all my favourite pieces of gear to get the job done quickly and to the highest possible standard.

I had a local cabinet maker build a custom desk to fit two carefully selected racks of outboard gear, including my UAD Apollo which is the heart of the set up, my control surface and ultra wide monitor for maximum space ship vibe ergonomics. The control room is the perfect size for a small group to hangout while recording or mixing. The live room is just big enough for live drum recording and perfectly suited for overdubs and vocal recording.
